Concepciones de docentes de ingeniería acerca de la enseñanza. Análisis de la consistencia

Resumen

Este trabajo consiste en una descripción de las concepciones sobre enseñanza que poseen docentes de ingeniería y el análisis de su consistencia cuando son indagadas en diferentes aspectos vinculados con la enseñanza. Particularmente se abordan sus representaciones respecto de (a) para qué se enseña, y (b) qué se enseña. La investigación se llevó a cabo desde una perspectiva fenomenográfica, asumiendo que los profesores construyen sus concepciones dentro de un determinado contexto y se relacionan con los estudiantes en función de esas concepciones. Se realizaron entrevistas a partir de las cuales se extrajeron categorías, tomando como guía las extraídas por investigaciones previas realizadas con docentes de otras disciplinas. Los resultados obtenidos muestran evidencias que las concepciones de los docentes de ingeniería consultados son poco consistentes y se ubican entre posiciones tradicionales, que implican un estudiante ausente en su consideración, y posiciones en las que el estudiante está presente pero solo como sujeto activo-repetitivo.
