Normally, three-dimensional Coriolis acceleration is one of the subjects that challenges mechanical engineering students. This article presents a strategy that improves the learning process of Coriolis 3D. The strategy has the following steps: In the first step, a conceptual contribution is made that facilitates understanding of the problem posed; the second step mathematically develops the proposed exercise, for which the derivative of a vector is used with respect to the time measured in relation to a translatory-rotary system; in the third step the exercise is programmed and analyzed, as a result the incidence of the angular velocity in the Coriolis acceleration is presented, which affects the total magnitude of the acceleration. The fourth step carries out a valuation survey, which was applied to two groups of students in the subject of Dynamics at the National University of Colombia, Medellin campus. In the study, the groups were divided as follows: a group of students who read the article and another set with students who do not read it. It was evident that those who read the article had a better performance. Finally, the survey and its revision allowed changes to be made in the classroom which helped in the presentation and understanding of the concepts associated with the problem worked on.
