We study the parabolic motion using two different methods. First, the torsion catapult was built to experimentally obtain the maximum range of 6 angles and second, Tracker was used to obtain the parabolic firing angle, the initial and final positions, the graphs of positions and speeds as functions of time. With the data taken from the experimental part and from the Tracker we find: the initial speed, the equations of motion as a function of time in terms of their unit vectors, the maximum range, the maximum height and the flight time using the traditional method. When comparing experimental data with traditionally calculated flight time, maximum range, and maximum height, the errors were ~ 3.9%, ~ 0.12%, and ~ 0.67% respectively.
