Abstract

This article describes mecatronics design methodology structured with educational ends to present a material for the development of competitions in industrial networks communications area, sustaining the viability in the disposition of the facilities and elements of Industrial Automation laboratory of Universidad Autónoma de Bucararamanga.

The material support for industrial networks laboratory is constituted by a manual of practical, a didactic CD and a test bank approaching solutions to problems of industrial profile and implementing Profibus Dp communications module in interaction with the programmable logical controllers (PLC’s).
