This paper shows the results obtained from the elaboration of a measurement and visualization system of hydrogen potential for a prototype of waste water plant using activated sludge. This monitoring was realized using an electrode of pH Blue Line pH11 of Schott® which presents a voltage (mV) variation. The main problem that this sensor presented is a level of impedance that exceeds 1012 Ω, which can generate problems with the operational or instrumentation amplifiers of common use and easy access on the market. Using an integrated circuit ILC7107, the hydrogen potential was decoded and showed in a visualizer of a seven segments and through in a graphic interface designed using LabVIEW® of the National Instruments Corp.Downloads
