Professional skills evaluation from the students’ acquired experience during internship or placement

This research demonstrates the student´s evaluation in relation with the professional skills that were assigned during placement in companies within the region. The information was collected with a questionnaire answered by students of three generations during the same period, who according to their perception assigned a grade, to the importance the company assigned to each task that contributed to the development of professional skills of their study program, and another grade to what they considered had developed in College. The results identified correct performance in tasks related to topics of production and quality, although according to the students in lower grades to the developed in College, specifically with supplies management, collecting evidence of the process’ function, assuming a leading role, and interpreting technical information in a second language.Downloads
