Aprendizaje del sistema de control respiratorio en un entorno ECTS

Una de las áreas de estudio en el campo de la Ingeniería Biomédica es la aplicación de la ingeniería al análisis de sistemas. Este artículo describe un laboratorio virtual para el análisis y el estudio del Sistema Respiratorio Humano basado en la compilación de diversos modelos descritos en la literatura. La presente aplicación se ha construido utilizando MATLAB/Simulink y EJS, de tal manera, que se combinan la elevada capacidad de cálculo y la interactividad. El laboratorio virtual está diseñado con el propósito de entender el comportamiento del sistema respiratorio en condiciones normales, durante situaciones patológicas y para predecir variables respiratorias en diferentes condiciones y niveles de estímulo.
