This paper describes the design, creation and evolution of the robotic development kit, which aims to provide first-semester students of electrical, biomedical and systems engineering with a versatile and adaptable teaching aid, for practical work in the area of automation and control. The kit is a set of mechanical parts to be assembled using the servos and allows the construction of various prototype of robot, that can be controlled through a software wirelessly by Bluetooth protocol. As part of the laboratory automation and control, this product aims to modernize the teaching practices within the higher education, through the inclusion of the students in stages where learning by doing.Downloads
