LEARNING, ENGINEERING EDUCATION, STUDY, Didactic gamesAbstract
The integration of didactical games in education has become crucial due to technological advances and the abundance of accessible information. These games, beyond entertainment, are especially valuable in engineering education, allowing students to explore complex scenarios, exchange knowledge among peers, and reinforce concepts. An exploratory study showed students' positive perception of serious games and their motivation to create high-quality educational games. Although the use of games in the classroom is beneficial, they must be carefully designed and evaluated in such a way that the impact on the learning process can be established. Therefore, to enhance educational activities, it is recommended to create a repository of diverse engineering games, establish assessment rubrics, and collaborate with educators and designers.
