This text presents a research develop by the author, based on the application of microgenetic method to analyze problem solving and metacognitive control, using heuristic methods with context situations for academic electronic circuit problems, with students of electronic engineering and biomedical engineering of the Universidad Manuela Beltran. Some features was found, presented by the group of students in the complete process, which allowed to obtain some conclusions and important observations about problem solving in specific knowledge in electronic circuit analysis and design, metacognitive control processes and variables, and teaching heuristic methods in engineering.Downloads
