A bibliometric analysis of the engineering education from 2007 to 2017

This paper shows the bibliometric analysis about engineering education, based on the information from Web of Science (WoS) database in a period of 11 years between 2007 and 2017. To elaborate this paper, it was counted with the software called HitsCite that provided quantitative and qualitative results classified into categories such as: more participatory countries, production by years, frequent languages, journals, institutions, etc. It was concluded that during the last 4 years the number of articles published has increased regarding this issue, though in 2017 there was a significant decrease in publications; USA is the country that makes more annual publications, so English is the predominant language and the Journal of Engineering Education is the journal with the best production of publications.Downloads
